Hub City Access is a new non-profit organization formed by advocates, health care providers, and consumers who wish to lead the way in making Lubbock, Texas more accessible to all of its citizens. To that end, Hub City Access was established on July 2, 2007 by the Lester E. Wolcott Memorial Foundation.
Did you know that people with disabilities are the largest minority group in the country and the only minority group you can join at any moment. In fact, there are 33,995 people with disabilities, over the age of 5, living in the Lubbock community. What's more, each of them spend their hard-earned money in the city of Lubbock. Indeed, accessibility and inclusion benefit the entire community.
